1956.7

Founded the department that specialized in oil brakes, which was later separated and transferred from Sanwa Seiki.

1960

1961.11 Received an official commendation in excellence after evaluation by the Director of the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, on the basis of the enterprise diagnosis system.
1962.12 Technical collaboration with the Bendix Corp. U.S.A., on cylinders for oil brakes for automotive vehicles.
1966.3 Concluded the technical assistance contract with Automotive Product Ltd. U.K., for a steering wheel ball joint and vehicle suspension system.
1967.1 Enlarged a casting factory to 825 m² and separated to set it up as a new company: Saitama Precision Casting Co., Ltd.
1967.11 No.1 Chichibu Plant was established.
1968.4 No.2 Chichibu Plant was established.
1969.4 No.3 Chichibu Plant was established.
1969.10 Nishiumi Engineering Laboratory was organized to integrate the research, development, and testing departments of companies in the Nishiumi group.

1970

1970.12 Nishiumi Purchasing Center was organized to integrate the purchasing departments of companies in the Nishiumi group.
1973.11 Awarded with the Deming Prize.
1978.9 The building of No.2 Chichibu Plant was enlarged and No.1 Chichibu Plant was integrated into this plant. The name was changed to Yoshida. The name of the No.3 Chichibu Plant was also changed to Miyado at this time.

1980

1980.10 Yono Plant was enlarged.
1981.12 Concluded the technical assistance contract with Automotive Product Ltd. U.K., for automatically adjusted wheel cylinders for use on vehicles.
1985.8 Concluded the technical assistance contract with San Yes Automotive Industry Co., Ltd.
1987.4 Started production of Full Power Brake Systems.

1990

1995.12 Established Kodama Laboratory. Set up machinery for endurance testing of brake dynamometer and rig.
1996.3 Started production of a drum brake assembly for heavy-duty vehicles.
1997.11 Acquired the site of Saitama Hino Jidosha Hanbai for C plant. Purchased approx. 3,500 m².
1998.2 Certified as an ISO9002 corporation.
1998.3 Achieved a record of 3.9 million hours without work-related accidents. Recognized as “Class One” by the Ministry of Labor.
1999.6 Started production of a rear drum brake shoe for heavy-duty vehicles.

2000

2000.7 Started production of a front drum brake shoe for heavy-duty vehicles.
2002.5 Certified ISO14001.
2002.5 Established 5.9 million hours without work related accidents. Recognized as “Class Two” by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare.
2002.10 Saitama Seimitsu Co., Ltd. was merged with Saitama Kiki Co., Ltd. and called as Kodama Plant of Saitama Kiki Co., Ltd.
2002.10 Authorized as Sai-no-kuni Factory.
2003.3 Certified ISO9001: 2000.
2003.11 Began construction of a SAW brake.
2003.11 Honored by the Director-General of the Social Insurance Agency.
2003.11 Received a letter of appreciation from the Minister of State.
2006.7 50th anniversary of founding
2010.11 Received a letter of appreciation from the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare for services in the field of competence measurement
2014.5 SAITAMAKIKI THAILAND CO., LTD is established in THAILAND.
2016.7 60th anniversary of founding.
2017.3 Saitama Kiki (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. started production of assembling steering components.
2017.1 Katoh Seisakusho Co.,Ltd. was integrated with Saitama Kiki Co., Ltd.
and called as Yamagata Plant of Saitama Kiki Co., Ltd.
